This pleasant, coastal apartment is a versatile property that would suit a family or a group of friends holidaying together in St Ives. It is located just 100 metres from one of the town’s beautiful sandy stretches, Porthmeor Beach. This family-friendly town beach is also popular with surfers, so beginners and improvers might like to rent a board and dive in. St Ives is a pretty harbour town with winding cobbled streets and lots to see and do. Visitors can delve into the vibrant arts scene here, calling in at some of the many galleries, including the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. For walkers, there are plenty of dramatic trails to follow along the coast path and Land’s End is 18 miles away. Back at base, St Ives offers a great array of places to eat, drink and shop.

The apartment is laid out across two floors on the second and third floors of the building. It is accessed via a tarmac road and a shared secure gate. Once inside the central courtyard, guests access the property via a flight of stairs and enter the first floor via a hallway. The main living space is open-plan with a compact kitchen and a dining table next to the window. There are lovely beach and sea views from the apartment, tempting you to head down and feel the sand between your toes. The lounge features a pair of easy chairs and a sofa bed offering versatile sleeping arrangements. Also on this floor is the first bedroom with a zip-and-link twin bed configuration that can be made into a super-king upon request. The family bathroom is on this floor with a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. A staircase leads from the lounge to a studio bedroom with twin beds. This is a large and airy space with French doors leading to a private terrace. There are also easy chairs and a TV in this bedroom, along with a washbasin and plenty of space.

The outside terrace is accessed via the upstairs bedroom and features a table and chairs along with views of the beach. This is a lovely spot for relaxing and ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks in the open air.

Good quiet location with easy access to beach and short walk to harbour side and shops. Access to apartment up 32 steps no good if less mobile. Secure Parking undercover but very tight space (width wise).

As you are aware we stayed at the property on numerous occasions. The location of the property is ideal for us. Car parking is a must for us. The style of property is perfect for us.. The soft furnishings could do with being updated. We had lovely weather and I was annoyed that I had to spend an hour cleaning the table and chairs in order to make fRead moreull use of the balcony.
