A charming holiday home in the heart of St Ives with cottage-style interiors providing comfortable accommodation over three floors with access to the thriving art scene. Visit the Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, relax on the harbourside and watch the fishing boats unload the day's catch and stop off at one of the pubs for a pint. Get out and about and explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. Head the short distance along the coast to Carbis Bay, just 2 miles away. It’s a gentle walk along good footpaths and follows the railway line where the views of St Ives Bay are fantastic! 4.5 miles away is the pretty granite village of Zennor, again you can follow the South West Coast Path (or travel by car if you prefer). This charming village is steeped in folklore history and the famous author, D.H. Lawrence wrote a number of poems and essays here. If you’re in St Ives, you have to visit Land’s End, 18 miles distant. This is one of the most beautiful coastal landscapes in the country - follow the cliff paths and look out for the resident basking sharks, dolphins and seals along the way. St Ives ticks all the boxes for a seaside holiday!

Steps up to the front door leads into the hallway and on into the lounge with wooden floors and plenty of comfortable seating. There’s a separate dining room again with wooden a floor and a dresser and table and chairs. The recently renovated contemporary kitchen is off the hallway and is well fitted out for all your self-catering needs. There is also a ground-floor shower room with a WC. Stairs lead to the first floor with 3 bedrooms, one double and one twin and one single, two of which have fantastic views across the bay and come complete with USB ports. There’s also a bathroom with a bath, a separate shower cubicle and a WC on this level. Stairs lead up to the second floor lead into a twin bedroom which is open to the stairs. The views over Porthmeor Beach are amazing!

The property has a lovely courtyard to the front and rear, one with a picnic bench and great views for al fresco dining and a drying area.

Brilliant rental, superb location, fabulous views, great outdoor space, very comfortable beds, 2 great bathrooms/showers. Constant hot water on demand. Very good level of equipment and facilities. All we hoped for and true to its description. Very nice vase of flowers was very welcome. Perfect (and quite rare) configuration of double bed/single/twiRead moren rooms etc for our 3 generation family. We had a great week. Hide

Comfortable house. Comfortable beds, (very important!). Lovely views from front bedrooms of Porthmeor bay. Well equipped kitchen. Collection of buckets and spades meant we didn't have to waste lots of money! Not easiest access to property with small children.
