This charming, cosy cottage is in one of the best spots in St Ives - open the door and you’re right on the waterfront. Situated directly on the harbour with all rooms facing the sea, it’s perfect for watching the comings and goings and waiting for the fishermen to unload their catch. The cottage is lovely, attractively decorated and furnished; ideal for a couple looking to relax and stay somewhere special. There’s plenty to see and do too: visit the Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, stop off at one of the pubs for lunch or pick up a picnic from one of the delis. Get out and about and explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. Head the short distance along the coast to Carbis Bay, just 2 miles away. It’s a gentle walk along good footpaths and follows the railway line, the views of St Ives Bay are fantastic! 4.5 miles away is the pretty granite village of Zennor, again you can follow the South West Coast Path (or travel by car if you prefer). This charming village is steeped in history. If you’re in St Ives you have to visit Land’s End, 18 miles – one of the most iconic and beautiful coastal landscapes in the country. Follow the cliff paths and look out for the resident basking sharks, dolphins and seals along the way.
From the cobbled harbourside, a stable door leads into the cosy kitchen/diner with nautical décor and a lovely space for two to dine together. From here, stairs wind to the first floor lounge with bay window and window seat so you can watch the boats bob by. There’s space for two on the sofa in front of the fire. The cosy double bedroom is on the second floor, again this room has a wonderful bay window and a window seat, there’s also a lovely bathroom on this floor with a WC.
Whilst there is no dedicated outside space, your door opens directly onto the harbourside, so the whole of St Ives is your playground.
