2 Wadd cottage is an ideal place to stay. It is ideally situated, for us, we like walking around the fields with our dog. We have stayed here six times now, so as you can imagine we really like it. We will be booking again for next year, possibly around May time.

A beautifully presented cottage in a lovely location close to our favourites - Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Southwold and Orford. A very spacious living/dining and kitchen area with plenty of room for lounging and seating for eating and playing board games. The bedrooms are comfortable and the master bedroom has extensive views across the fields. We Read moreenjoyed watching the creation of shredded wheat in the evenings in the fields behind. A short walk down the lane and the garage supplies almost everything needed for a short stay. Our first night and we had booked a table at the Golden Key. Curtain pole and base at back of cottage over patio doors to garden came away from the wall when opened. Curtains are very heavy. Worried it may fall on one of us. Took curtains down ourselves. A lovely cottage, very close to Snape and Aldeburgh. Good local amenities, including a super fast EV charging hub at Friday Street farm (1 mile from the cottage) This was appreciated as we both have EVs :-) The garden was great as it was secure for our two dogs and there was a lovely view of the wheat field from the cottage. The cottage is wellRead more equipped and was perfect for our family group of grandparents, parents and 4 month old baby. The layout was also ideal to entertain friends who live locally. Would happily stay again Hide

Wadd 2 is lovely. The gardens are better than Wadd 1 so if you get the choice Id recommend 2. Excellent facilities everything you could ask for in the kitchen area. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. My only downside would be that they only have doors to the outside, not windows so if its really hot you have to sleep with the door open. Loved the cottage and venue. I would say mattress toppers required and sky TV. There was only one TV and it had free view Washer very noisy as not levelled but these are all minor gripes and we had amazing weather.

Another little gem of a place from Suffolk Secrets. This place is the one if you are looking for quiet nights, so long as the owl's at night don't bother you. It has a lovely view across the open farmers fields and I spent many an hour watching the wildlife.
