Situated in the South Cliff neighbourhood of the ever-popular seaside resort of Scarborough, this North Yorkshire apartment is a winner. It is within 1 mile of Scarborough’s famous seafront and some handy shops and pubs. The town is a traditional English seaside town with a promenade, sandy beach, amusement arcades, and fish and chip shops. Attractions in Scarborough include Scarborough Castle, Peasholm Park, The Scarborough Fair Collection, Sea Life, and the town’s open-air theatre. Further afield, why not visit North Yorkshire Water Park (8 miles), Cayton Bay Beach (4 miles), Whitby Abbey (21 miles), and Flamborough Cliffs Nature Reserve (19.5 miles).

This fine apartment is located in an eye-catching building on the first floor. The front door is reached via a shared lobby and a staircase or elevator. First of all, you will find a hallway with space to hang your outdoor clothes. Just off the hallway is the open-plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. There is ample comfortable seating in front of the TV with a BT You View Box and a DVD player. In the bay window area, there is a dining table with room for three guests. At the other end of the space is a well-equipped kitchen. Next door is the bedroom which contains a double and a single bed. The recently refurbished bathroom has a shower with rainfall shower head over the bath and WC.

There is no outside space at this property. Parking permits are provided for on-street parking in the local roads.

Our flat in Esplanade Gardens, Scarborough, was both spacious and very comfortable. From the flat it is just a very short walk to a historic lift taking residents and guests alike down and up from the water front promenade, Spar, Clock Cafe and charming garden walks. A full programme of events are held at the Spar almost daily. The flats ground fRead moreloor access and lift allow relatively easy access for disabled guests. The flat was very comfortable and well equipped. Knowing that we had a nice place to stay increased our enjoyment of our time in Scarborough. I contacted the owner by phone with some queries and they answered promptly and were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely flat in a very convenient area. Nice and quiet at night and close to the cliff lift to get down and up from South Bay.

This flat exceeded our expectations, it's amazing. It has everything you can possibly need, it's spotlessly clean and the shower is wonderful. Truly a great find. There is a coffee machine, pods are available in Tesco and Sainsbury's local. Location wise, it's quiet at night but close to everything, shops including Sainsbury local, Couplands bakeRead morery and the most fantastic chocolate shop are a five minute walk away. A great view of the sea from the end of the road and the walk into Scarborough or to the beach is lovely from there. Highly recommended accommodation. We were a family of 2 adults and a 7 year old. Third visit and will be back next year. Keys and parking tokens always arrive at our home address early so no last minute panics. High standards are maintained in the apartment and easily met our needs. Lovely place, good neighbours in the block, quiet and have always found parking space nearby. Sainsburys round the corner and a quick plug for the Read moreCrown Spa Hotel. Had a bar meal there one night and it was superb and no more expensive than my local pub back home!! Theakstons best bitter on draught at 5.30 a pint. Back to the apartment, cannot fault and will certainly back next year (if not before). Thanks again to the owners. Hide

This is the second time staying here. We have been holidaying in Scarborough nearly 50 years and this is one of the nicest holiday apartments weve stayed in. The location is brilliant! Always stayed on the south cliff. Theres shops just round the corner. The cliff lift at the bottom of the road which takes you to the beach and spa but you also haveRead more access to the seafront bus which takes you all the way to the sealife centre and Scalby. The beautiful Italian gardens are only 10 mins walk and Its only 15 minutes walk into the town centre! The apartment itself has everything you need and is beautifully decorated which makes it so cosy. It has a lift which is ideal as I stay with my elderly mum. I cant recommend it enough. Hide
