Situated along the northern tip of St Ives, this delightful apartment offers cosy accommodation for up to four guests. Set in the jumble of streets known as Downalong, this bright and spacious apartment is just metres away from four gorgeous beaches: Porthgwidden, Harbour Sands, Porthmeor and Bamaluz, with Porthminster Beach just a stroll along the beautiful St Ives Harbour. Nature lovers can head a few metres north to the grassy peninsula known as The Island to spot unusual birds including little egrets, oystercatchers and skuas. St Ives has a wealth of great places to eat and drink, and is internationally famous for its art galleries including Tate St Ives, Porthminster Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

A few steps lead down to this lower-ground-floor-apartment which features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Over by the patio doors, the light-filled lounge is a great space to sit back and relax at the end of a fabulous day exploring this stunning part of West Cornwall. The central breakfast bar makes a charming dining area, and the stylishly designed kitchen has plenty of equipment and space to rustle up your favourite meals. When it’s time to turn in for the night, there’s a choice of two cosy bedrooms, decorated in fresh, soothing shades. The first is a pretty double room with plenty of storage space, and the second is a cosy twin room. The apartment also features a family bathroom.

French doors open out from the lounge and into the enclosed private patio with garden furniture, which makes a lovely spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

Nice cottage well equipped, proper fridge/ freezer, new kitchen, plenty of plates cups and cutlery, for a 4 person let...this enabled us to have meals with my sons young family of 5 in reasonable comfort

Overall the cottage inside is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Its the outside patio area that lets it down.

Pennys place was perfect for us, a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids and our dog). We have been coming to St Ives Cornwall for many years, location was great, lovely holiday home with all we needed and more, great games we all enjoyed playing, great choice of books, clean, brilliant facilities, nice outside courtyard, great kitchen facilities for self Read morecatering. Would recommend to family and friends and hope to stay here again in future thanks very much for a lovely stay we enjoyed our holiday and stay with you very much. Hide
