Comprising the eastern wing of the original building, this beautifully updated residence offers elegant holiday accommodation for up to 10 guests exploring the gorgeous Llyn Peninsula. Just 500 metres from Traeth Abersoch Beach, the property makes a great base for discovering the beautiful coastline, friendly villages and glorious countryside of the Llyn Peninsula. Abersoch is a charming coastal village at the head of Cardigan Bay, with plenty of attractions including an 18-hole golf course, some welcoming pubs and restaurants and two more sandy beaches. The village is also known for dinghy sailing and a range of water sports including windsurfing, kayaking and jet-skiing, or you can take a boat trip out to spot the grey seals near St Tudwal’s Islands.
Entering this superb property, a spacious hallway leads you through to the delightful main lounge which has a TV, plenty of seating and large windows allowing plenty of light to stream in, and double doors leading through to the stylishly designed kitchen. Along with a sleek central island and plenty of workspace, the kitchen has a lovely dining area over by the bay windows. The airy, light-filled conservatory has a sweet breakfast area, a Welsh dresser with a choice of puzzles and games, plus plenty of seating and a TV and DVD player. Doors lead out from the lounge and the conservatory onto a stone sun terrace with beautiful views over the garden and towards the bay. The ground floor also has a useful shower room. Heading upstairs, there’s a bright seating area on the landing, providing a pleasant spot to catch up with a good book or enjoy the views over the garden. This floor features three of the house’s five tastefully decorated bedrooms: one delightful twin room and a single with pull out trundle bed both overlook the garden, and a pretty king-size room has a dressing table, en-suite shower room and a lovely private balcony offering magnificent views. Finally, the first floor has a refreshing bathroom. The last two bedrooms can be found up on the second floor: a charming twin room and a cosy double, each with skylights in low sloping ceilings. This floor is also served by a handy shower room.
Outside, there is plenty of parking and shared lawns to the front of the house, as well as a handy outside tap ideal for rinsing off sand from the beach. To the back of the house is a large private back garden with outdoor furniture which offers fantastic views over Cardigan Bay.
