The holiday cottage has a central location, with The Broads National Park on your doorstep, and Norfolk’s east coast just a short drive away (less than 5 miles). Head to Acle Bridge (3.5 miles), known as the ‘gateway to The Broads’, to hire a boat or take a relaxing stroll along the network of footpaths that follow the meandering waterways. Pack your buckets and spades and journey to Caister-on-Sea (4.5 miles) for a day at the seaside. Build sandcastles in the wide expanse of unspoilt sand, splash in the water, and play in the grassy dunes. Alternatively, head slightly further along the coast to discover the vibrant resort of Great Yarmouth (8 miles), with its arcades, attractions, and rides.
The stylish barn conversion has a reverse-level layout, to really make the most of the property’s fantastic countryside views. The property dates back to the 1880s, and has been decorated to reflect this, with warm tones and tasteful accessories. On the ground floor, you’ll find two elegant bedrooms. The first is a super-king-size, and the second is a twin (that can be made up as a super-king-size on request). Both rooms are decorated in neutral tones for a relaxing night’s sleep. The family bathroom is also located on the ground floor and has a shower over the bath and WC. Heading upstairs, you’ll find the magnificent lounge/diner. This space is full of character, with exposed beams and dramatic light fittings, and boasts stunning rural views. There is ample seating for everyone to spread out and relax, including a Chesterfield dog bed for four-legged guests. Spend time here, in the glow of the wood burner, playing games or watching a film on the Smart TV or Blu-ray player. The room also houses a fabulous dining table for enjoying memorable mealtimes together and there’s an iPod dock to listen to your favourite tunes. The stylish kitchen is a joy to cook in, with its vibrant tiles and ample worktop space. Here, you’ll find an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer dryer.
Outside, there’s a stunning enclosed garden, with a lawn that children and dogs can play on. You’ll also find a sunny patio with furniture for al fresco dining, and a fabulous swing seat to relax in with a cup of coffee and a good book. There is off-road parking for two cars at the property.
