Set on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this cottage is the perfect bolthole for exploring North Norfolk. Head out on foot to discover the salt marshes, the sand dunes and the coastal path which makes for an epic dog walk. Take a boat trip to Blakeney Point to see the seal colonies or walk over to Morston (2 miles), making the most of the unique birdwatching opportunities as you go. Sandy beaches can be found at Wells-next-the-Sea (9 miles) and Holkham (11.5 miles) and back in Blakeney, you’ll be able to walk to great pubs, restaurants and shops.
Inside the cottage, you’ll find a cosy living/dining area. The lounge benefits from comfy furniture, a wood burner and a TV with DVD. The oak dining table and chairs will seat four people comfortably. The clean and modern kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, countertop freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. On the ground floor, you’ll also find the family bathroom featuring a luxurious roll-top bath with an electric shower and WC. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: the first bedroom has a king-size zip-and-link bed which can be converted into twin beds on request., and the second has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed which can also be converted into twin beds on request.
Outside, the property benefits from having a large garden with a lawned area and patio. Garden is slightly offset from the cottage and also shared with the neighbouring property. The BBQ and dining table make this the perfect spot for enjoying al fresco meals. There is no private parking on site but a pay and display car park can be found 80 metres away. For National Trust members, the Quayside car park is free.
