Located within the picturesque Brecon Beacons National Park, this welcoming cottage offers home-from-home accommodation for up to five guests. Set on a smallholding less than 0.5 miles from the River Usk, there is ample opportunity for fishing, riverside walks and white water canoeing. Shops and pubs are located within 1.5 miles in the nearby village of Sennybridge. Outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers can take advantage of the many walking and cycling trails throughout the park directly from the cottage. The popular market town of Brecon, with independent shops, pubs and eateries, is 5 miles away. The park has International Dark Sky Reserve status, making it a must-visit destination for stargazing.
Although located within a smallholding, the detached cottage has its own private entrance. Access to the property is on the first floor leading to a spacious kitchen and dining area complete with exposed beams. The comfortable lounge is centred around a feature fireplace. The bedrooms can be found on this floor too; the master bedroom and a further double room with an additional single bed both include en-suite bathrooms. The lower ground floor is home to the master bathroom with a relaxing roll-top bath, and a functional utility room that – with a separate entrance – is ideal for storing sporting equipment and walking gear.
Outside the property, an enclosed patio area to the front of the cottage includes garden furniture for relaxing with a meal, evening drinks or a spot of stargazing.
