For a stay on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, this modern cottage in Walberswick is a fantastic option for those looking to enjoy a seaside break and embrace the great outdoors. There is a network of walking trails to explore along the coast to Dunwich, and Walberswick Beach can be accessed via a small footpath which is a perfect place for a family day out. Southwold (8 miles) is an iconic seaside destination which is a must visit whilst staying in the area, with rows of brightly coloured beach huts, a pier and alternative amusements making it a great option for all ages. Here you can enjoy uninterrupted sea views and views over the marshes where a lot of resident and migratory birds can be seen.
The heart of the home is the living area, with large sliding French doors looking out to the garden, comfortable seating and a warming woodburner for winter evenings. For mealtimes, the kitchen has plenty of preparation space and a table to seat four. Both bathrooms sit on the ground floor with one a wet room with a walk-in shower, and the other a family bathroom with a shower cubicle for convenience. There are two bedrooms, one a double and the other a twin, which can be made up as a king on request. On the first floor, there is a second seating area featuring a single bed and a second pull-out single bed making room for six guests if needed. On the opposite side of the bedroom is a viewing area with two seats and a door opening out to the balcony which overlooks a living roof and out to sea.
To the rear of the property is a beautifully cared for enclosed back garden with a lawn and a patio area complete with seating to be enjoyed during the spring and summer months.
