Get all of your loved ones together at this beautiful home on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. It’s the ideal accommodation option for large families or groups of friends who want to enjoy quality time on the pretty beach or take some great walks over the health to Southwold (1.5 miles). Sitting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Walberswick Beach (0.5 miles) is completely unspoiled and backed by a nature reserve and the RSPB’s Dingle Marshes – so it’s easy to surround yourself with nature. Alternatively, head to the harbour (0.5 miles) and take a trip across the River Blyth on the charming Southwold to Walberswick Ferry. This rowing boat crossing has been in service since 1236. Once in Southwold, you can take a tour of the lighthouse (1.5 miles), visit the only museum in the UK dedicated entirely to amber (1.5 miles), and check out the restaurants, cafes and shops on the pier (2 miles). Further afield, head to Lowestoft (18.5 miles) to wander around the Scores – the town’s steep atmospheric lanes that descend to the sea, or head to the Lowestoft Maritime Museum to browse the recreated workshop of the hovercraft inventor Christopher Cockerell.

Step inside this stylish and spacious holiday home and you’ll find a welcoming porch with plenty of room to kick off your shoes and hang up your coat. The cheerful hallway has a handy under-stair cloakroom with a WC. The hallway leads you through to a wonderfully laid-out open-plan ground floor with plenty of room for socialising with your loved ones. This space consists of a kitchen, dining area and sitting room, which together create a spacious and bright living area which benefits from plenty of natural light from the room’s large bay window. Cook up a storm in the quaint kitchen area and serve up a dinner to remember in the stylish dining area. There’s plenty of room for everyone around the large table in front of the wood burner. After dinner, go through the double folding doors into the sitting room, slip onto a sofa and enjoy a lazy evening stretched out in front of the TV. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll discover two stylish bedrooms – both generous king-size rooms (one with an en-suite shower room), as well as a smart family bathroom. Continue up into the attic and you’ll find two charming twin bedrooms which are ideal for four children and are inter-connecting.

Outside, you’ll discover a spacious garden with a quaint seating area, so pull up a chair, relax and treat yourself to a glass of something cool and crisp.

Fern Cottage provides excellent accommodation in Walberswick. The location couldn't be better being near to beach, two pubs and excellent Deli. The house itself is very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed with tasteful quality furniture. There is also the added benefit of a lovely secluded back garden with covered area for relaxing/eating. ARead morell in all I would definitely recommend this property. Hide
