A one-of-a-kind detached property in a tranquil location yet close to Suffolk’s seaside resorts and local amenities, this is an exceptional holiday home for families and groups looking for a remarkable place to stay. The property is situated just over a mile from the pretty village of Bramfield which has a pub and shop/deli as well as an equestrian centre offering lessons for adults and children. For something a little livelier, the delightful village of Walberswick is only 3 miles away. Whether it’s lunch in a traditional pub, an afternoon tea or a spot of crabbing on the beach, Walberswick has it all. Alternatively, guests can take the easy 5-mile drive to the Edwardian coastal town of Southwold. This quintessentially English seaside town offers a working lighthouse, an award-winning pier, a busy harbour and a sandy beach perfect for a lovely family day out.

This exciting property has been thoughtfully designed to offer views over the surrounding fields and countryside from nearly every room. Each room is styled with the utmost contemporary décor and furnishings, offering a quirky and characterful holiday home. Guests will enter the property through the hallway, where there is storage for shoes and coats. Steps lead to the open-plan living space; an extremely roomy area with large picture windows designed to create tableaus of the beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside. The lounge area has comfortable leather sofas, where guests can gather in front of the wood burner or enjoy the views over the garden from the window seat. The dining area has a large table for ten with sliding doors leading to the garden and there is also a sizable kitchen with a feature island unit and modern, quality appliances and a utility room. You’ll also find three well-proportioned bedrooms; one king-size with a four-poster bed and en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. Nestled in the garden is a converted railway carriage which is used as a playroom, basin and a WC. 

Outside, guests can relax on the terrace or in the garden and grounds with an orchard and wildflower meadow. There’s also a wildlife pond as well as garden furniture and BBQ. Both the pond and the garden are securely fenced.

This is our second stay in three months. Stunning cottage- the photos really don't do it justice- in huge wrap around garden. There was just my husband and myself but it would be brilliant for families. Great location for all the lovely areas on the Suffolk coast and further inland. Would highly recommend.

If you want well equipped, spacious accommodation, Glenview is fantastic. The location is so quiet, with a great patio for the evening sun and a pleasant walk either way to a pub, great place
