This modern holiday home is ideal for a small family to enjoy a tranquil holiday on the Llyn Peninsula. Set in a quiet residential area in the stylish seaside town of Abersoch, all of the town’s amenities and its beach are within half a mile of the front door. There is a convenience store just 100 metres away, and a wealth of independent shops and boutiques in the town centre. Abersoch boasts some fine stretches of golden sands and families might like to rent one of the colourful seafront beach huts. Bring picnics, buckets and spades and boogie boards and set up camp for the day. Along the pretty streets of this former fishing village, visitors will find great seafood restaurants, cute cafes and traditional pubs. There are sightseeing boat trips bookable and the popular surf beach of Porth Neigwl is just 3 miles away.

The home sits amidst shared landscaped lawns in a serene neighbourhood. It is arranged with the living area on the first floor making the most of the countryside views. Guests enter via a vestibule and hallway and head upstairs to a sociable open-plan living area. With sleek decor and plenty of natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors, this is an attractive space to spend time in. Comfortable sofas are gathered around a multi-fuel wood burner and there is a large dining table behind. The compact kitchen is alongside this and has everything you need for preparing and sharing family meals. Back downstairs guests will find the cosy bedrooms with an ample king-size bedroom and a pretty twin room. Both bedrooms share the use of the family bathroom with a large walk-in shower and heated towel rail. There is also an additional separate WC as well as a utility area under the stairs housing the washing machine and a freezer.

The actual location and property were overall excellent. Although we did have problems with the electric. Power disappeared on the first night and we had to call the emergency number who could not do much until the morning when he could get an electrician to call. Electrician came which was all good but in the evening the power went off again. The Read morereason was the cooker was causing a short to occur meaning we had to isolate the cooker and we were not able to use the cooker during our holiday.also the two front doors had problems with each lock and it was difficult to use the keys on both doors each time. if the electrics were in good working order and the doors were either repaired or replaced for new then our score would of been higher as the location is what makes this place so appealing.
