Sitting in the charming port of Padstow, this homely cottage is the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends in search of stylish accommodation in a delightful fishing port on Cornwall’s beautiful north coast. Pack up a picnic and head to St George's Cove (1.5 miles) – a lovely sandy inlet looking out over the Camel Estuary towards Daymer Bay. As the tide goes out the sands stretch to Saviour's Point in the south and to the ruins at Gun Point to the north. Or grab your surfboard and make a beeline for Trevone Bay (2.5 miles). While you’re there check out the blow-hole, a 25-metre-deep hole in the cliffs that has been formed from a collapsed cave. Alternatively, make your way down to Padstow Quay (0.5 miles) and hop aboard the Jubilee Queen for a cruise along the north Cornish coastline – you may be lucky enough to see dolphins, puffins, grey seals and sharks. In the evening, treat yourself to dinner in one of Padstow’s excellent restaurants. This quaint little town is a home base for several celebrity chefs, including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.
Step inside this gorgeous cottage and make yourself at home in the spacious lounge/diner. Decorated in soothing tones, this is a fabulous spot for relaxing in front of the Smart TV with your nearest and dearest. When it’s time for dinner, make your way to the sleek kitchen – you’ll find everything you need there to create a culinary masterpiece. Gather everyone at the dining table to eat, or head out onto the deck to dine alfresco. After dinner, enjoy a glass of something cool and crisp on the deck, or chill out will your loved ones in the lounge. When the day is done, you’ll find one stylish single bedroom with a TV on the ground floor, as well as two more bedrooms on the first floor – a king-size with a TV and a twin. A chic family bathroom on the first floor rounds off the homely layout of this relaxing cottage.
Outside you’ll find a beautiful deck with garden furniture – the perfectly-peaceful spot to kick off your day with a morning coffee, or to pour yourself an after-dinner drink while you watch the stars come out.
