Sitting in the charming port of Padstow, this homely cottage is the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends in search of stylish accommodation in a delightful fishing port on Cornwall’s beautiful north coast. Pack up a picnic and head to St George's Cove (1.5 miles) – a lovely sandy inlet looking out over the Camel Estuary towards Daymer Bay. As the tide goes out the sands stretch to Saviour's Point in the south and to the ruins at Gun Point to the north. Or grab your surfboard and make a beeline for Trevone Bay (2.5 miles). While you’re there check out the blow-hole, a 25-metre-deep hole in the cliffs that has been formed from a collapsed cave. Alternatively, make your way down to Padstow Quay (0.5 miles) and hop aboard the Jubilee Queen for a cruise along the north Cornish coastline – you may be lucky enough to see dolphins, puffins, grey seals and sharks. In the evening, treat yourself to dinner in one of Padstow’s excellent restaurants. This quaint little town is a home base for several celebrity chefs, including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.

Step inside this gorgeous cottage and make yourself at home in the spacious lounge/diner. Decorated in soothing tones, this is a fabulous spot for relaxing in front of the Smart TV with your nearest and dearest. When it’s time for dinner, make your way to the sleek kitchen – you’ll find everything you need there to create a culinary masterpiece. Gather everyone at the dining table to eat, or head out onto the deck to dine alfresco. After dinner, enjoy a glass of something cool and crisp on the deck, or chill out will your loved ones in the lounge. When the day is done, you’ll find one stylish single bedroom with a TV on the ground floor, as well as two more bedrooms on the first floor – a king-size with a TV and a twin. A chic family bathroom on the first floor rounds off the homely layout of this relaxing cottage.

Outside you’ll find a beautiful deck with garden furniture – the perfectly-peaceful spot to kick off your day with a morning coffee, or to pour yourself an after-dinner drink while you watch the stars come out.

Great little house, extremely well equipped with quality furnishings. Although small, its well thought out with a feeling of space and lots of storage for clothes and shoes etc. Good location, just a ten minute walk into town and probably a slighter longer walk back up the hill!! Both pros and cons to this cottage! One of the twin mattresses was awful and needs replacing immediately, it creaks and groans and you can feel every spring. It was really uncomfortable & noisy! Under the twin beds hadnt been dusted or mopped. Bed runners (twin) were dirty and hadnt been cleaned between guests. However, the cottage is excellRead moreently located, a 16-minute walk to Padstow town centre. It was very convenient to have parking spaces as parking in Padstow itself looks a nightmare. We had a delivery from Sainsbury but there is a Tesco up the road. Hob is induction which is far better than the electric you find in most holiday cottages! Plenty of plates & glasses etc although we had to wash them on arrival. Lots to do in Padstow, its a really good location for a couples or family holiday. We also did a 5km walk from the town, and walked to St Georges Cove, from the cottage. Just be warned, if you have a child, every stair & upstairs floorboard creaks; it was impossible to creep out having got my daughter to sleep without waking her. There is a downstairs single but its right next to the lounge area so not great for noise, plus from a safety perspective I dont like having a child downstairs with adults upstairs. All in all, a decent stay, but could have been so much better with a few small tweaks and a bit more care, especially considering what it cost. Hide

A very well presented holiday cottage in a pleasant modern estate on the edge of the town. Its a steep walk down to the harbour so maybe not best for people with limited mobility or dodgy knees. The views however are wonderful across the estuary.

The property had a terrible smell of wee coming from the downstairs bedroom which wafted into the lounge. I slept in that bedroom and it was horrible. Lovely kitchen area and the rest of the house was ok except for the cleanliness which lacked a lot.
