Located within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this stone-built property is a perfect base for a family from which to explore this picturesque stretch of coastline. Seahouses is often known as the ‘gateway to the Northumberland coast’, with many beaches, coves and bays close by. The tidal island of Lindisfarne, or Holy Island, is 18 miles away and Bamburgh, with its imposing, sea-facing castle is 3.5 miles away. An abundance of walking trails are available from the cottage and under 2 miles away down the coast at Beadnell, guests can find their sea legs with sailing opportunities. For the more adventurous there’s surfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and diving. Closer to home the beach, a pub and shops are located 0.5 miles from the cottage.
This single-storey cottage provides plenty of space for relaxing and getting together. The open-plan living and dining area is stylishly furnished with a comfortable sofa, a TV with Netflix and a dining table seating four, while the fitted kitchen is modern and well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. The tastefully decorated double bedrooms both overlook the garden, and one features a door into the garden for easy access outdoors. Further down the hall is a well-appointed family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside, via one of the bedrooms, guests can relax in the pretty enclosed garden, a perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee or a wind-down evening drink.
