Located in the heart of the seaside fishing village of Seahouses, the home overlooks the coast, with views of Farne Islands, Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle. Beach living is easy with the dunes at the front of the house with over 2 miles of sandy beaches. Seahouses features a quaint harbour with local restaurants, coffee shops, tea rooms, gift shops and pubs. Additionally, you’ll be able to explore Northumberland's Bamburgh Castle, 2 miles away.

The family-friendly home features an open-plan living area with panoramic sea views. For convenience, there is a cloakroom with WC and a rear enclosed lobby with a washing machine. The lounge is spacious with a wood burner, TV and comfortable seating. The kitchen all the appliances you need for your holiday cooking, with a dining area to enjoy your meals all together. Upstairs on the first floor are a double bedroom with stunning sea views, and an inviting single room. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. A staircase leads to the second floor where you’ll find a twin bedroom with sea views and another single bedroom.

The outdoor area is perfect for relaxation. Its enclosed south-facing garden is approximately two thirds of an acre, featuring a lawned area with a summerhouse. The summerhouse also provides storage for bikes, a BBQ and a large fridge/freezer.

Seaton is a wonderful family friendly holiday cottage. The proximity to the beach and Seahouses means everything you need is a short walk away. The cottage is comfortable and welcoming. The mattress in the main bedroom was very comfortable - we slept like babies. The views across to the Farnes from the front bedrooms are beautiful. We aRead morelso watched some amazing sunsets from the sitting room. The garden is enormous and the dogs just loved it. The garden is also fully enclosed and dog safe. Weve stayed in cottages which have claimed this but found it not to be true. But the Seaton garden really is as described. Our two whippets made full use of it for zoomies! All in all a really good find and we will certainly consider booking again in the future. Hide

The location of the house is fantastic as you have a very good view of the sea and islands. We have also seen dolphins on numerous occasions which is a bonus. The very large garden is excellent if you have dogs and or children. We found the house to be clean and reasonably well equipped.

The view as you arrive and look through the house to the sea is stunning. Views from main bedroom also exceptional. The enclosed area to the rear is excellent and secure for dogs and for parking although access around the neighbouring property is tight but manageable. Patio is lovely in the sun. Kitchen is well equipped in good working order and lRead moreots of crockery and cutlery. Great heating, Very clean and comfortable beds. The main bedroom and single rooms on first floor are great however the two upper rooms require careful negotiation of steep narrow stairs, I would not be comfortable with children or less able family members using these rooms. Location of the house is fabulous for beach and for access to the town centre. Lots of nearby walks and eating places. Hide

Beautiful location with stunning views out to sea and Bamburgh castle. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The king size double room is fabulous. There is so much to see and do and we enjoyed delicious food from local restaurants, pubs and takeaways. Lovely big garden and plenty of space for parking. We were pretty lucky with the weRead moreather too for early April! The property is a bit tricky to spot from the road when you first arrive though, and please be aware the staircase to the second floor is incredibly steep, with very shallow steps. A lovely cottage in a wonderful seafront location. You forget that you're on the edge of a town because you can see the Farne Islands from your living room window, but Seahouses is only a couple of minutes on foot.

Seaton was very well equipped and the view was incredible. The garden was fully enclosed, perfect for relaxing and plenty of space for the children to play football. Easy walk into Seahouses to shops, pubs/restaurants and boat trips. Our only complaint would be that there were only 3 dishwasher tablets when staying in property for 7 nights. The House was in a location that was almost perfect, the comfort of the house was very good (furniture a mix of old styles but very comfortable and perfect for a holiday home)....Was a bit surprised to find quite so many cobwebs on lamps, room corners etc and was very surprised to find tooth paste stains on glass shelf above sink in main bedroom...Read more(No oven gloves which has been mentioned a few times in reviews)...The instructions for Laundry was a little misleading..Please leave in Bags that were not supplied or notes to say to put in linen boxes and then on checkout info on site leave on floor!....On the whol a great holiday home and would certainly stay here again as these were only minor things to be fair..... Had a lovely stay here at Seaton. So enjoyed the views, the beach, the town and walking on the golf course. We ventured further to the National Glass Centre at Sunderland- worth a visit for sure! House is beautiful and very comfortable, garden needs some modifications to be dog secure but great to be able to sit out. Puffin cruise on Serenity I'd Read morerecommend. Hide

We have enjoyed this home very much- wonderful views, very comfortable rooms and lovely decor. The beach is wonderful over the road as is Bamburgh- down to the bottom car park on The Wynding is our favorite spot.
