The cottage itself was small but suitable for my sister and I. However, I thought fro the information provided beforehand that I had booked one of the Lovaine Cottages overlooking the estuary but that proved not to be the case.

This cottage was sited in a lovely village and we did enjoy our stay. It would be interesting to know the origin of the building but we were comfortable and warm

this cottage is compact but with everything needed for your holiday. It is clean and warm and cosy. The exit and entrance and parking is tight so needs great care in manovering.

This is a lovely cottage in probably the most dog-friendly place I've ever stayed. the location is great, the cottage is lovely, there are good pubs and restaurants in very close walking distance and having the sea so close by was an added bonus.

Had a pleasant week in this cottage, bedrooms were a bit small with limited access down side of beds, OK if you are reasonably agile , only minor niggle made up for location with easy walking access to beach and high street, parking for one car but access can be restricted when busy.

Lovely clean and well equipped property. It was conveniently located in the centre of Alnmouth. However the access could be difficult to manoeuvre a car in and out as it was very tight. The actual parking space was fine though. The outside area is very small and doesn't get any sun. Alnmouth is a lovely village by the sea and we had a great weRead moreek exploring the area. Hide

The cottage was wonderfully located in the village and the parking space provision was very welcome. It is a charming place to stay and has everything you need within in to really enjoy your stay. Kitchen facilities were great and the shower had good pressure. It's a small cottage but everything has been fitted to maximise the space you have. Our oRead morenly gripe were the beds, which I think has been raised previously. The bed in the main bedroom is incredibly soft and does not really allow for two adults as you end up sunk in the middle. The other bed is a sofa bed which is specified but again could do with an upgrade. In general a wonderful stay in a lovely village. Thanks. Hide

Lovely cottage but slightly disappointed with sitting area in communal access path but a minor issue. Access with car quite difficult so we used buses rather than trying to reverse round a very narrow dog leg access lane. Cottage was very clean and comfortable.

Cottage was clean, cosy and well equipped, if a bit tight for space in the bedrooms. Its well situated in the beautiful village of Alnmouth. The one downside is the vehicular access and parking - definitely not suitable for a large car.
