Take a stroll along East Runton’s beautiful blue flag beach (500 metres), which is a big hit with surfers and fossil hunters. There’s also a lovely clifftop path that runs all the way to Sheringham (3 miles) if you want to stretch your legs. There you’ll find a traditional seaside town with its own heritage railway. Alternatively, head into Cromer to take a surf lesson (1.5 miles) or to West Runton (1.5 miles) to play a round of golf. In the evening, check out the seafood on offer in the local pubs and restaurants. The Cromer crab, which is landed by the fishing fleet just 1.5 miles away, is superb you will also find a local café, fish & chip shop and children's play area within walking distance of the property. There are footpaths to both Sheringham Park (4.5 miles) and Felbrigg Hall (1.9 miles) from the Cottage.
This lovely cottage is simply overflowing with character and style. Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming sitting room with plenty of comfortable sofas to slip onto, as well as a Smart TV with Freesat and Bluetooth and a quaint wood burner to warm your toes by. When it’s time for dinner, head through to the kitchen/dining area and you’ll find everything you need to show off your culinary skills – an electric range cooker and gas hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, dishwasher, washing machine – as well as a table and chairs to enjoy sociable meals at. A contemporary bathroom with a bath, handheld shower attachment and WC rounds off the ground-floor layout. When it’s time for bed, head up the traditional Norfolk winder staircase to the first floor and you’ll discover two lovely bedrooms – one double with an en-suite shower room with WC, and one spacious twin. Please note that access to the double bedroom is via the twin bedroom.
To the front of the cottage, there’s a pretty courtyard with plenty of seating and an outdoor table and to the rear of the cottage you will find a Loke with access to local footpaths. It’s the perfect place to bask in the morning sunshine with a freshly-brewed coffee in your hand, or for dining alfresco with your loved ones at the end of the day. Private on-road parking available.
