This expertly renovated cottage is situated close to the village of Penally within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the only coastal national park in the country. Its location makes it an excellent base for a family or party of up to six from which to explore this unspoilt and picturesque part of the country. Avid walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which runs close to the property. The sandy beach and dunes of Penally are less than 1 mile away while the ever-popular resort of Tenby, with its colourful Victorian harbour, medieval town walls and large choice of shops, eateries and pubs is just over 2 miles away.

The ground floor of the property is filled with light and provides ample space within the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area for socialising and relaxing. The kitchen is modern and well equipped while the seating areas are comfortable and tastefully decorated. This floor also contains a separate utility room that keeps the kitchen free for communal gathering and cooking. Lastly, this floor boasts a shower room and WC. Upstairs to the first floor, guests have the choice of three bedrooms: two doubles and a twin. All are carefully decorated and furnished. The family bathroom, also on this floor, is bright and modern, and the master double features a convenient en-suite bathroom. There is space in the garage to store surf boards/bike etc.

Trefloyne Lodge is a lovely cottage about 45 minute walk from Tenby. It's roomy for a family of 4-6. Quiet location beside a golf course and 5 minute walk from a pub that does decent food. The upstairs floorboards are noisy but at least we knew when people were up. We felt completely at home and enjoyed sitting in the garden which is a sun trRead moreap. The property wasn't very clean when we arrived, dirty fridge (the top was full of grease and dust), bed mattress was uncomfortable. We're quite used to receiving a welcome hamper on arrival, but there wasn't even a pint of milk in the fridge. The outdoor furniture was rusty and dirty.

Excellent property, good location and quality. Only slight complaint was the very noisy floor boards and bed in the master bedroom, impossible to be quiet with a sleeping 5 month old baby asleep in the room ?? but overall an excellent property ????

The Lodge was just what we needed. Plenty of space for the two families, the second lounge with the log fire meant we could be separate if needed. Plenty of space for the children to run around both inside and out. The board games, was a lovely surprise plus having the utility room meant we were able to wash sea sodden clothes ;-). The only minor nRead moreegative comment I would make is for a better potato masher, the one provided was useless. But this was just a tiny thing which didn't spoil our holiday. A big thank you to our hosts. We would book this lodge again. Hide
