Perfect for a couple or small family wishing to explore the Northumbrian coast and countryside, this modern, semi-detached house is on an estate on the edge of Hadston village, just 2.5 miles from the fishing village of Amble, with its marina, harbour, sandy beaches and shops. Don’t miss a boat trip out from Amble harbour around Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks. Druridge Bay stretches 7 miles between Amble and Cresswell and is ideal for walkers, surfers and energetic dogs, and Druridge Bay Country Park has meadows and woods, as well as the lovely Ladyburn Lake, and is extremely popular with walkers, horse riders, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts. Picturesque Warkworth is 4.5 miles away, where you will find artisan shops, a 12th-century church, a magnificent castle and some of the best views in the county, while Alnwick (12 miles), with its castle and award-winning gardens, is another must-see while in the area.

The red-brick, modern property has a welcoming lounge with comfortable leather seating arranged around a smart TV. Through an arch is a spacious kitchen/diner where there are plenty of cupboards and worktops for experimenting with local produce while enjoying spending time together. Completing the ground floor is a handy WC. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a double and a small double, both sharing a family bathroom.

French doors lead from the kitchen to the attractive lawned garden with a decked patio. Equipped with furniture and a charcoal BBQ, this is a great spot for a relaxed breakfast or an evening meal, or just sitting outside with the paper or a book while recharging in the fresh air.

This is an excellent property, very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen was brilliant with all the utensils you need. Small beautiful, south facing garden was a haven. Good TV. Perfect base for the local beaches. Highly recommend this accommodation, we would happily book again.
