This cosy retreat is part of a traditional terrace of Norfolk cottages in a square on the outskirts of Bodham. A couple of welcoming pubs are within a mile, and keen walkers can head to Sheringham Park (1.5 mile) and Holt Country Park (4 miles). Crossing Kelling Heath you will reach the beautiful beach at Weybourne (3 miles) with other nearby beaches including those at Sheringham, Salthouse and Cromer (all within 6.5 miles) with its popular seafront and famous Victorian pier. Local attractions include Mannington Gardens, Baconsthorpe Castle, Amazona Zoo and Muckleburgh Military Collection (all within 7 miles). Nature lovers can head to Cley Marshes (6.5 miles) for a boat trip out to see the seal colony off Blakeney Point.

This friendly cottage has a warm and airy lounge with a Smart TV. DVD and plenty of seating including a love seat, providing a relaxing spot to curl up in front of the wood burner to watch a movie or chat into the night. Exploring this delightful cottage further, the kitchen/diner provides a lovely space for cooking and preparing all your favourite dishes. The dining area is perfect for getting together to chat about the day and to plan the next day’s activities, and the fully equipped kitchen has a built-in electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher and microwave. At the end of the day head upstairs – please note, the staircase is open-sided – and choose between two fresh, cosy and relaxing bedrooms. The first is a charming double with wooden beams, and the second is a cheery twin room with wrought iron beds and a skylight in the low sloping ceiling. The landing has plenty of hanging space for both bedrooms. The property also features a refreshing family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC and a laundry room.

Separate from the main house, a path behind the cottage leads to a gateway leading into the private and secluded garden with beautiful views overlooking the surrounding fields. Mainly laid to lawn, and featuring a choice of outdoor furniture, the garden makes a lovely spot for a BBQ or a glass or two of wine in the evening. Parking is available for one car outside the cottage. Additional roadside parking can be found in the village.

Lovely cosy cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped with everything you need. Worth noting the garden is not attached to the cottage. It is at the end of a small path a few mins walk away.

A lovely cottage with everything you need. Lovely garden area altho a little walk from the cottage. Parking can be tight if all cottages occupied but plenty parking in the village. The sun shines at the front in the evening so nice to sit outside and relax.
