At the heart of Reepham, you are close to the idyllic Bure and Wensum valleys, with an abundance of countryside walks within minutes of the property. The town is home to some beautiful Georgian-era properties and a quaint square that hosts weekly market stores. There is an interesting array of independent shops selling local food, clothing, and bespoke fancy goods in the town too; also check out the wide choice of restaurants and pubs you can visit. For long treks and cycle rides, consider a day out exploring the length of the 26-mile Marriott’s Way, that runs between Norwich (17 miles) and Aylsham (6.5 miles). Day trips to Norwich offer endless possibilities for food and drink, evening entertainment and city walks. Check out Norwich Cathedral and the city’s many museums too. The North Norfolk Coast is 18.5 miles away if you are hoping to visit the old-fashioned seaside resort of Cromer, to try some local crab or enjoy an amble along the pier.

On arrival at this bijou property, you will encounter the cottage’s courtyard where you will still see some of the children's old etchings on the walls. The inside adopts a largely open-plan layout that combines a kitchen, dining and living area into the same spacious room. The lounge area has ample comfortable seating, a coffee table in front of the TV and an electric wood burner-effect fire. The kitchen area comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, and a slimline dishwasher. There is also a dining table with seating. The bedroom has a king-size bed inside for restful nights and lots of storage space for your clothing. The handy en-suite bathroom is home to a shower and WC.

Outside the property is an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and a patio. Enjoy tasty outdoor cooked meals on the charcoal BBQ too. There is private off-road parking for one car on the driveway.

Fantastic little place, nice courtyard garden. Shame about the very noisy dog next door but we were out and about all day every day so it was only in the mornings and evenings that it affected us and our dog
