Property code: OC-2153

Set back from the coastal road, in the heart of the village, this charming, tastefully renovated three-bedroom cottage echoes the relaxing atmosphere of the rolling Brancaster coastline. Brancaster is a quiet coastal village less than 0.5 miles away, offering award-winning restaurants, farm shops, and delicatessens showcasing the best of Norfolk’s fresh locally sourced produce. Enjoy a diverse habitat including reedbeds, saltmarsh, and freshwater lagoons at the RSPB reserve at Tichwell just 2 miles away. Discover treasures aplenty and beautifully landscaped walled gardens at Holkham Hall (9 miles), a thriving 25,000-acre agricultural estate dating back to the 1750s. On the east coast, explore the famous striped cliffs and Esplanade gardens before admiring the most spectacular sunset 7.5 miles away at Hunstanton, a traditional Victorian seaside destination.

A cute porchway leads you through to a cosy living room with large comfortable sofas and a stunning wood burner setting the cosy atmosphere which is carried throughout the whole cottage. Exposed red brick fireplace is a unique feature calling back to the cottage’s past. Another exposed ornamental red brick fireplace can be found in the dining room, a spacious nook for six guests around the cute dining table. At the rear of the cottage, you’re met with a galley kitchen with a stunning electric range cooker for that cottage lifestyle. A convenient utility room and cloakroom with WC can also be found on this level. A spacious king-size bedroom awaits upstairs, decorated with nods to the nautical location of the cottage. Twin beds and a built-in 4ft bed make up the second and third bedrooms, both featuring more nods to nautical. The large family bathroom features a shower over the bath and WC.

The courtyard paved patio garden, uniquely to the front of the cottage, is the perfect spot for socialising or soaking up the sun. A large picnic bench and parasol keep the garden space traditionally coastal.

Comfortable cottage in a good location. Spacious with comfy beds. Kitchen well equipped but a bit cramped. Heed the warning on the cottage stairs - we are not a tall family and yet repeatedly bumped our heads. Outside space at front limited and on main road. Would consider renting again if we were back in Norfolk - was cosy and good value.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The road is quite noisy so we slept in the built in double bed which was quite cramped!! Matresses May need renewing soon as they could be better quality in bedroom 1 and the smaller back room. Warning ?? ceilings are very low, but not a problem is you duck. All very well stocked and a lovely stay over all.Read more Thankyou Hide

We stayed at Hill View over the Christmas week and we had a wonderfully festive time at the cottage. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the array of board games at the cottage and our dog Bear loved seeing the passers by in the front yard and loved walks on the beach. The pleasant surprise to our stay was watching the 40,000 geese flying over every mornRead moreing in their individual flocks, it was a sight to behold. Thank you we loved staying at Hill View. Hide
