Comfortable and spacious, this luxurious holiday home sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms. It’s located in the village of Thorpeness, Suffolk. This popular holiday destination is known for its literary history and its artificial lake: the Meare. This lake comprises many little islands, all named by J.M Barrie, author of Peter Pan. Visitors can hire little boats and drift between fairy-tale settings such as the pirate’s lair and Wendy’s house. Thorpeness Beach is just 160 metres away and it’s a dog-friendly sandy stretch, perfect for coastal walks all together.
On the ground floor, you have the living room, kitchen/diner and shower room. The lounge offers two sofas and two matching armchairs alongside a TV with a DVD player. There’s also a wood burner-effect electric fire for warming up on chilly evenings. The kitchen/diner includes plenty of appliances alongside a wooden dining table and chairs. Budding pianists will be pleased to find a piano in the dining area and there’s also an iPod dock. The shower room completes the ground-floor accommodation. Up on the first floor are the four bedrooms and the main bathroom. Bedroom one has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, bedroom two has a super-king-size bed and a wood burner-effect electric fire, while bedrooms three and four each offer twin single beds. Finally, the bathroom is tiled with a shower cubicle, bath and WC.
Outside, the lawned garden offers beautiful views of the Meare and has a patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ.
