Excellent, surprisingly quiet location with a bus stop yards away. Well decorated and plenty of space. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony overlooking the lovely harbour. Well equipped, for instance in the kitchen and with a large fridge/freezer. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds. The owners helpfully provided extra equipment for twin baRead morebies. Excellent cleanliness. Hot water always available even though we were a large party. More accessible information on the heating would have been helpful in the unseasonably cold summer we are having. The cottage is in an ideal location. It is opposite the small harbour. Close to the pub and seaside walks. The three parking spaces were ideal. The accommodation is spacious, the bedrooms were ideal with the luxury of an extra bathroom. The kitchen was well laid out with plenty of storage space in the two fridges. The welcome pack went Read moredown very well. All in all, very good value for money and an ideal location. I would definitely stay there again. Hide

Firstly, the parking information from OC needs to be updated. Someone commented on this in Oct 2022 and its still hasnt been done. If OC gave out the info thats in the information guide in the cottage, neighbours wouldnt be disturbed by guests arriving and trying to understand where they can and cannot park. OC are great at keeping you informed andRead more its a shame that this hasnt been sorted out. The cottage is warm and very comfortable. The welcome pack of goodies and the kitchen / bathroom packs are a nice touch. The one log in the basket by the fire hardly constitutes as a basket of logs and there wasnt any kindling so we had to use the papers that were left. We had seen comments re this prior to our holiday so took logs etc with us. There wasnt an oven glove which made pulling stuff out of the oven a bit dangerous but the rest of the kitchen equipment was good. Nice to have some nice sharp knives for a change in a holiday let. Overall the cottage was clean, this has obviously been rectified after recent comments made by guests. Some TLC required downstairs. The location is great. We know the area very well so know that theres not much in Craster apart from The Jolly Fisherman, which is fantastic and Robsons Smokehouse. As long as you know that beforehand you can ensure you have all you need with you. Its a fantastic base for coastal and country walks and visiting other places up and down the Northumbrian Coast. Id say this property is great for 4 people (adults) but any more, unless they were children you might struggle a bit with bathroom facilities. Overall we had a great week and we enjoyed our stay at Pegasus Cottage, would we return.probably not as there are so many other properties to choose from. Hide

Pegasus cottage is overpriced in its present condition. It requires a makeover & a thorough cleaning. We had to ring the office to deliver logs which should have been provided & the extending dining table didnt extend!( centre panel was missing?) The upper floors were in better condition with comfy beds, clean linen & towels. However we will noRead moret be returning. Hide

The property was well situated in Craster. The pictures on the web- site were extremely flattering to the interior. In reality the cottage is very tired and needs a make-over to bring it up to a present day standard

The house was lovely, centrally situated with amazing views of the harbour and great walks to Dunstanborough Castle. The only drawback with Craster is there are no shops to buy any daily provisions

We loved the Cottage which was well equipped. The location was good and the little bag of goodies was very welcoming. The fridge and the bin could have been cleaned as they both had a smell of stale food. We had to clean the frying pan and a few other items in the kitchen cupboards. The lock on the upstairs bathroom doesnt work. The beds were cleanRead more and comfortable and the rest of the cottage was clean and tidy. We had a great holiday and we hope to return again one day. A lovely cosy cottage, with spacious rooms and a home from home feel. It was perfect for us as a family, and a very handy location for everything we like to do in the area. We have been visiting Northumberland for twenty-two years, so know the area well. Staying in a nice, welcoming cottage, is an important part of our holiday.

The cottage is extremely comfortable and perfectly located in Craster. The information for parking however is unclear until you get into the property and read the house manual .
