Warren Mill is an interesting conversion of the old grain mill, in a beautiful location with stunning views of Budle Bay

We had a very comfortable stay. The property is very well equipped including dog bowls for the dogs. The location is beautiful and an ideal base for exploring the beaches, walks and local villages of Northumberland.

Don't tell lies in the advert. The so-called "beach within 0.1 miles" turned out to be a combination of salt marsh and mudflats - no sand in sight within this distance: totally unfit for either people or dogs to walk on. Furthermore, it was part of a nature reserve and the dogs could not have been let off the lead anyway. We booked this property baRead moresed on this claim, so we could walk the dogs to a nearby beach without driving. It transpired to be a massive disappointment. Nor did the advert mention the appalling mobile phone reception there, which made it very difficult to maintain contact with my elderly, disabled father's carers whilst at the premises. The premises itself was fine, but following a power cut to the local area on Saturday (30th March) afternoon, there was no hot water. When I called the company number they refused to send anyone out that day. The problem was rectified that day without their intervention; however, that does not bode well for any significant problem which could not have been rectified the same day. In summary, a poor experience, which I would not repeat. I also found that what guests are expected to do prior to leaving (strip beds; hoover etc) to be unreasonable. There is a 6 hour gap between check out (1000 hours) and check in (1600 hours). Surely that is enough for all requisite cleaning; including any extra caused by the presence of dogs, to be carried out. We paid any extra 50 for our 2 dogs, so what is this for other than any extra cleaning required? Hide

The living room has no windows and felt like being in a cellar. The kitchen sofa is very small and not suitable for 2 so no where to relax during the day

The property is ideally situated for commuting to a variety of locations worth visiting, everything we needed was available so was truly like a home from home, would recommend this property to anyone,we were sad to have to come home and could have quite easily stayed longer.

The property is in an excellent location and has a great view of Budle Bay. There are adequate facilities to cook your own meals and some excellent places to eat out - would recommend the Elan Pizzeria in Seahouses. However there are some small niggles which could be improved to assist with convenience and enjoyment of the stay.

Beautiful part of the country. Our enjoyment was somewhat diminished by the almost non-existent phone signal inside the property and intermittent and poor outside the property. We have entered very favourable scores as we feel that Seal Bay and the quality of service deserves them. However, it should be noted that upon arrival, we had to make up the beds and the fresh bedding and towels were left in bin bags in the downstairs hallway. We were initially unsure if this was used or clean replacement linen. This was the onRead morely disappointment we had with the property. Hide
