This wondrous period property with a tastefully decorated interior has a contrast of modern and traditional furnishings throughout and offers welcoming spaces where families or friends can gather to plan a day along the dramatic Northumberland coast. The house sits in the centre of Bamburgh, home to numerous shops, restaurants and an 11th-century castle. A walk along its extensive beach will take guests the scenic route to Seahouses (3 miles) while more history can be absorbed in the market town of Alnwick (17.5 miles).

Inside, the property has many character features and a homely atmosphere. Views of the tree-lined grove in front of the house can be observed by the bay window in the lounge, while a second, smaller room, which feeds into the kitchen/ diner, is perfect for reading or quietly catching up with other guests. This whole area, which enjoys solid oak flooring throughout, will be a key socialising space during your break, with a handy laundry room sitting just off to the side. Head up to the first floor where there are four en-suite bedrooms to choose from: two king-size rooms with TVs, a third king-size room and one double room.

There is a small courtyard outside, with table and chairs for outdoor dining. The beach at Bamburgh is within half a mile for endless windswept walks and sunny picnics.

This is a great property in a fantastic location. All restaurants, pubs, shops and coffees shops are o your doorstep. However the house is quiet and private. We had 4 adult couples and the house was large enough for dining, watching TV, relaxing. 4 proper double bedrooms all with en-suite. Perfect holiday property!

Having stopped in the properties before we knew what to expect. Excellent location and space throughout for a large family. The price has considerably increased since we last stopped (pre covid) and felt the price for one week was on the high side. We stop in Northumberland every year and Bamburgh is a particular favourite but feel you can get beRead moretter value and quality accommodation in other areas. We love greenhouse and greenleaf as we have fond memories and love the location. I'm sure we would stop here again in the future and are looking for Northumberland accommodation in Oct 2025. Hide

This is a lovely property in a fantastic location. Rooms are large, comfortable and up to date. Well appointed kitchen. The snug very cosy and great for those wanting peace from the larger lounge area. The ensuite shower and toilet in each bedroom very welcome. Small but sunny courtyard good for outside dining. Had a comfortable stay at the Greenhouse for my 60th Birthday. It is in central location in Bamburgh so handy for pubs, butcher's and beach. The open plan layout makes it a very sociable space and each bedroom having an ensuite was welcomed by my friends. The outdoor space got the sun, when it came out, in the afternoon and was a sun trap. Parking Read morecan be difficult in Bamburgh at peak times when day visitors arrive but we found after 4 pm parking spaces near the property came available. It is obviously a popular property and is showing some tiredness in a few places but it was comfortable, clean and warm and we all had a great time. Hide

A super location in the village close to all amenities. The kitchen/dining area is large and the lounge is comfortable. Good to have en suite bedrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the gales.

Lovely large cottage right in the centre of Bamburgh. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, the showers were lovely and hot and there were plenty towels, toilet rolls and hand wash. The kitchen is well equipped, although the fridge is not really large enough for an eight person property. We stayed over Christmas and there was a small decRead moreorated tree in the dining room, which has a lovely large dining table, sideboard and log burner. The lounge is comfortable and has a Smart TV and Blu-ray player. Theres a supply of games/jigsaws. There are 3 pubs within a very short walking distance and takeaway options in the nearby town of Seahouses. Bamburgh itself is beautiful. This was perfect accommodation for family/friends. Hide

The property was tired and needs a redecoration . The fridge was missing the proper insides for milk so was very precarious when opening the fridge door . Part of the range cooker (oven) wasnt working . The parking situation was horrendous ! If we went out in the car we couldnt then get parked when we came back and the noise from car doors being oRead morepen and shut was very annoying , The location for a beach holiday was brilliant. Some of the items in the kitchen just need replenishing, just the cooking trays are a bit tired. Also the knives (for preparing food) and scissors could do to be updated. I don't think this was the owners fault but it looked like some previous guests had not cleaned one of the ovens because they had left it a bit messy on the bottom. I just useRead mored the other one because there were 2. It was a lovely property though. Loved the beds and the shower rooms and we had a great stay.
