An exquisitely renovated, Victorian abode, this three-storey holiday home is ideal for anyone eager to be close to vibrant Fowey in Cornwall. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom property is 500 metres from the bustling heart of the town, with its shops, galleries and eateries. Visit the aquarium, catch the ferry to Bodinnick or Polruan or venture 1 mile down to the beach at Readymoney Cove. The National Trust’s Lantic Bay, 3.5 miles away by ferry and road, is also a beautiful place to swim and picnic on the sand. Head out of town to walk along the scenic South West Coast path in either direction or organise a trip out to the Eden Project, 6 miles from your holiday home.
Take three steps up to enter this airy property, with its attractive decor and stylish finish. Wander through to the lounge/diner after your trips out to unwind in front of the TV or a DVD or to chat and play games together. This room opens up into the chic kitchen, where you can whip up tasty dishes with the fresh seafood and other local produce you have sourced in Fowey. Also at this level is a WC. When you are ready to turn in for the night, make your way up to the first or second floor of the house. On the second floor, there are two double bedrooms, one with a TV, plus the family bathroom. A super-king-size bedroom, with TV and spacious en-suite shower room, can be found on the second floor.
Have a glass of wine out on the terrace as the sun goes down. Take in the views towards the river from here over a light meal at the bistro table on occasion too. There is also a terraced garden, accessed by steps, to the rear.
