The property is located in the pretty fishing village of Beer, on the picturesque Jurassic Coast, and has a fantastic selection of walks in all directions. The South West Coast Path passes through the village, taking you high onto the cliffs and spoiling you with truly magical views along this iconic stretch of coastline. Heading east, you’ll soon reach the seaside town of Seaton (2 miles), where you can ride on the heritage tramway and try a huge variety of water sports. Journey west, and you’ll discover the picture-postcard village of Branscombe (3 miles), with its colourful cottages, thatched buildings, and painted beach huts. If you fancy a day at the beach without the walking, Beer also has an adorable shingle beach, where you can share a picnic and watch the fishing boats going about their daily business. It’s also a great beach for rock pooling and fossil hunting. There are some great family attractions within easy reach, including Crealy Theme Park (16 miles) and Sidmouth’s Donkey Sanctuary (5.5 miles).
