This fabulous apartment for four is right in the heart of the pretty fishing village of Beer, enjoying a quiet, tucked-away location in one of the village’s side streets. Step out of your front door, to explore the village’s shops, dine in one of the many seafood restaurants, or spend the day at the beach rummaging in rock pools and hunting for fossils. Alternatively, while away the afternoon pottering amongst the colourful flowers in Jubilee Gardens, followed by a picnic overlooking the bay. Beer is a haven for walkers, with dramatic clifftop paths stretching away from the village. Along the coast, you’ll find the equally adorable village of Branscombe (3 miles), with its sweeping streets of thatched cottages and historic buildings. Wander a little further, and you’ll reach the vibrant seaside town of Sidmouth (8 miles), where you can peruse the independent boutiques and gift shops, and tuck into an ice cream whilst ambling along the pebble beach. There are some excellent family attractions within easy reach of the apartment, including Crealy Theme Park (16 miles) and Sidmouth’s Donkey Sanctuary (5.5 miles).
The first-floor apartment is decorated in a contemporary style, with flashes of blues and aquamarines reminding you of your proximity to the ocean. Seascapes adorn the walls, giving a home-away-from-home feel. The main living area comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner, with a large dining table to enjoy mealtimes together and comfortable seating arranged around a TV. When it’s time to say goodnight, retire to one of the welcoming bedrooms, where you can choose from a bright double or a cosy twin. A family bathroom completes the apartment.
There is no outdoor space with this property, but with the beach and cliff-top paths just moments (approx. 100 metres) from the apartment, it’s easy to find a quiet spot to stretch your legs before breakfast.
