Situated in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this welcoming holiday home is perfect for friends or families looking to explore this magical area's wonderful beaches and stunning coastline. The beautiful picturesque village of Beer is located on the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast, where, on a summer’s day, you could be forgiven for thinking you had landed in the Med. Beer's beautiful beach has a distinctly southern European look, with chalky white cliffs tumbling down to the turquoise waters below with fishing boats still bringing in their daily catches of the famous mackerel. On the edge of the South West Coast Path, Beer has some of the most stunning coastal walks in the county, one of the best being from Seaton to Beer, with dramatic views across the Jurassic Coastline. Countryfile recently named Beer as the UK’s Top Picnic Spot thanks to the breath-taking views of the village and beach from the hillside Jubilee Gardens. There are many family-friendly attractions nearby, including Bicton Gardens (13 miles), Crealy Adventure Park (16 miles), and the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary (5.5 miles), to name but a few. Mackerel fishing boat trips are available from Beer Beach, or if you fancy a little history, head to Exmouth (20 miles) and take a Jurassic Coast Cruise.
A 200-metre stroll from the beach brings you to this delightful holiday home. From the entrance hall, the cosy living room is warm and inviting with wooden floorboards and a working feature fireplace. The open-plan kitchen/diner has a well-equipped country cottage-style kitchen and a pine farmhouse dining table. Also on this ground floor is a garden room/occasional bedroom with a three-quarter size futon sofa bed and shower room adjacent. Upstairs are three bedrooms; one with a king-size bed, one twin, and one with a bunk bed. The family bathroom is light and bright with white tiles and a shower over the bath.
Outside, an enclosed terraced garden to the rear features a patio area and garden furniture (cushions stored under the stairs). The garden area beyond the courtyard is not available for guests use.
Parking: parking space for 1 small car to front of property.
