An elegant, apartment, on the first floor of one of Scarborough’s impressive, period buildings, this two-bedroom holiday home makes a great base for exploring the town. Ideal for a small family, it sleeps four guests and is just 0.5 miles from the sandy beach, where you can swim. Wander the old town, peruse the colourful shops of Scarborough and choose between its many pubs and restaurants. Take the children to the Sea Life Centre and the water park and book tickets to see a show at the Spa. Also visit the medieval castle while you are here and arrange a day trip into Whitby, 20 miles away, to climb the 199 steps up to the abbey ruins.

Open the door to the building, then climb one and a half flights of stairs up to your apartment. Let yourselves in to the airy, open-plan lounge/diner, with a bay window offering views out over Scarborough, and a glimpse of the sea in the distance. Relax in front of the Smart TV together during evenings in; play games in here and discuss the following day’s activities. You can enjoy meals at the breakfast bar in the kitchen or in the main room. There is an inner hall featuring a cupboard with hanging space for coats. At the end of each day, head off to either the king-size bedroom or the twin. A bathroom completes the layout of this attractive apartment.

There is no outside space with this apartment, but Valley Park is 0.5 miles away.

Absolutely amazing apartment, so much room. The bed is enormous and comfortable. Every bit of cutlery etc you could ever need in the kitchen. Lovely to be able to sit and relax in the evening after a busy day out with sky tv. The esplanade is just down the bottom of the street and public transport at the top. A beautiful apartment close to all the amenities that South Bay has to offer, while still sufficiently close to the varied attractions of Scarborough itself.

Lovely Victorian apartment, high ceilings, bay window with lovely sea glimpses and on a lovely street. Didn't hear any neighbours all week. Clean everywhere. The lounge is a lovely room to spend time in. Thank you!

When searching for accommodation we entered private parking in the search engine and starfish was one of the results. It turns out that there was NO private parking, it was street parking. As a result of this we were reluctant to travel elsewhere as there could have been no parking spaces available on return.
