A high-spec holiday home in the spectacular North York Moors National Park, Ewlands House is perfect for friends or families to experience rural Yorkshire living. Watch the North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam trains pass through the valley below on their way to the delightful moors village of Grosmont, 2.5 miles away. Sleights itself boasts a traditional butcher, bakery, deli, seafood restaurant and a couple of pubs. Further afield (4 miles), the popular seaside town of Whitby offers year-round entertainment. Climb the 199 steps to the world-famous Whitby Abbey, discover the delightful old-town filled with shops and a superb range of restaurants and tea rooms, or enjoy classic seaside fun such as crabbing and sandcastle building.

The holiday begins as soon as you walk through the door with a welcome hamper full of local treats. The open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge is roomy and comfortable. Two large sofas are gathered around a wood burner and Smart TV, making for a cosy corner on a chilly evening with views out to the moors. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything a budding chef could need. The dining seating is provided by an oak table and chairs. There is also a cloakroom with WC on this floor. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed with an armchair and a free-standing bath in the room. There is also an en-suite with a shower and WC.
