Property code: OC-WA113

An inviting holiday home in a spectacular national park setting, the cottage is perfect for friends or families to immerse themselves in rural Yorkshire living. The typical moors village of Grosmont is 2.5 miles away and is home to the engine sheds of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Wonderful views of the Esk Valley, with its passing steam trains, can be enjoyed from the cottage. Sleights itself boasts a traditional butcher, bakery, deli, seafood restaurant and a couple of pubs. Further afield (4 miles), enjoy some classic seaside fun in the coastal town of Whitby. Popular year-round, Whitby offers a wealth of attractions, including the world-famous Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula, and the delightful old town filled with local shops and a superb range of restaurants and tea rooms.

Greeted by a freshly baked loaf of bread and welcome hamper, this beautiful holiday home, oozes quality at every turn. The open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge is roomy and comfortable. Two large sofas and an armchair are gathered around a wood burner and Smart TV, making for a cosy corner on a chilly evening. The kitchen is very well equipped, making cooking up a feast a pleasure. Dining seating is provided by the oak table and chairs. There is also a cloakroom with WC on this floor. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed with an armchair and a free-standing bath in the room. There is also an en-suite with a shower and WC. There are two further bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with twin single beds. All three bedrooms have Smart TVs and offer beautiful views over the Esk Valley. The shared shower room has a rainfall shower and WC.

Outside, the stone-flagged balcony has a table and chairs with clear glass railings to maximise the views of the valley—the perfect spot to enjoy the spectacular scenery and take in the fresh Yorkshire air.
