Wonderful views of the Esk Valley, with its passing steam trains, can be enjoyed from the cottage. Sleights itself boasts a traditional butcher, bakery, deli, seafood restaurant and a couple of pubs. Further afield (4 miles), enjoy some classic seaside fun in the coastal town of Whitby. Popular year-round, Whitby offers a wealth of attractions, including the world-famous Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula, and the delightful old town filled with local shops and a superb range of restaurants and tea rooms.
Greeted by a freshly baked loaf of bread and welcome hamper, this beautiful holiday home, oozes quality at every turn. The open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge is roomy and comfortable. Two large sofas and an armchair are gathered around a wood burner and Smart TV, making for a cosy corner on a chilly evening. The kitchen is very well equipped, making cooking up a feast a pleasure. Dining seating is provided by the oak table and chairs. There is also a cloakroom with WC on this floor. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed with an armchair and a free-standing bath in the room. There is also an en-suite with a shower and WC. There are two further bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with twin single beds. All three bedrooms have Smart TVs and offer beautiful views over the Esk Valley. The shared shower room has a rainfall shower and WC.
Outside, the stone-flagged balcony has a table and chairs with clear glass railings to maximise the views of the valley—the perfect spot to enjoy the spectacular scenery and take in the fresh Yorkshire air.
