An appealing, traditional seaside cottage, this welcoming holiday home in Gorran Haven will allow you to immerse yourselves in the coastal beauty of South Cornwall. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom retreat enjoys glorious views out across the rooftops of the former fishing village, towards the cliffs and the sea. With gardens to the front and rear, it provides ample opportunity for relaxation at home, as well as access to Polstreath Beach, 0.5 miles away, and Portmellon Beach, 1 mile away. Pick up the South East Coast Path from Mevagissey and stroll out in either direction to take in the dramatic seascapes and look for wildlife. Have a day out to the magical Lost Gardens of Heligan, 2.5 miles from the cottage.
Climb the steps up to the front of the cottage to open the door and find yourselves in an airy lounge/diner, which runs from front to back of the property. Light the wood burner in here on chilly days or open the garden door when it is warm. Enjoy a good film together on the Smart TV and take turns at cooking homecooked meals for everyone over in the kitchen area. Also downstairs is a family shower room. Two double bedrooms and a family shower room are also situated here. Make your way up to the second floor to a twin bedroom.
Sit out to the front or rear of the house to bask in the sunshine and enjoy the sea air. Dine outside, perhaps lighting the BBQ, whenever the weather is fine and watch the children play on the grass.
