This spacious first-floor apartment is close to Ilfracombe’s picturesque harbour, town centre and the famous Tunnels Beaches. Ilfracombe’s delightful mix of Victorian and Regency architecture and its wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars make it a great place to stay. The harbour area is dominated by Damien Hirst’s magnificent bronze statue, Verity, and there are several galleries and craft shops nearby. Popular activities include coastal walks, several different boat trips from the pier (including one to the wildlife haven of Lundy), the popular Tunnels Beaches, and taking in a show at the eye-catching Landmark Theatre. The beautiful surfing beaches of Woolacombe Bay (6 miles) and the splendour of the Exmoor National Park (11 miles) are an easy drive or bus ride away.
The apartment is on the first floor, reached by external and internal stairs. Inside the apartment, a small hall leads to a light and airy open-plan living area with wonderful views over the town towards the harbour and the sea from three separate Juliet balconies, one of which is at the far end of the bright and modern kitchen with its breakfast bar. There’s seating for six at the main dining table. Three attractive bedrooms lead off, one double with Juliet balcony, en-suite shower and WC and two twins, one of which has French doors opening out to a balcony. There’s also a family bathroom with WC.
Although there’s no garden, there are stunning views from the balconies in all directions.
