Brilliant property situated very close to the Welsh Coast Path. Highly recommended. Easy to walk in to Mumbles to visit shops/restaurants and easy to get to Caswell in the other direction. Close to the excellent Langlands Brasserie.

Beach Rocks is a spectacular place to stay. The full glass frontage of the house allows you to stare out across the Bay from the minute you wake up. The accommodation was perfect for us (3 adults), with a comfortable sitting area, 2 bathrooms, dining area, and modern, well-equipped kitchen. There was a luxury hamper when we arrived containing lRead moreots of special Welsh treats and a very well written and informative guide to the house and the area. The nearby Coastal Path is great for strolling to the neighbouring Bays and the beautiful, sandy beaches are ideal for family holidays. The Mumbles has lots of nice shops and cafes and we also visited the Abercrave Caves, Swansea, Cardiff and Barry Island. Langland Bay is ideal for swimming and surfing and there were always people in the water and even a very friendly seal! Hide

Very modern property with high end appliances and furniture. The beds are super comfortable and the towels are extremely soft. Beach Rocks lived up to our expectations and beyond. The location was idyllic, loved Langland Bay and all the other capes and bays, this was our first visit to The Gower and hopefully it will not be our last. For an AONB it was certainly outstanding! The details of Beach Rocks made it unique in many ways, loved the lights on the stairs and the geRead morenerous width, the larger than average doors added a great feel to the property. We did worry about the pristine white surface and sink, we lay the kitchen towel ( folded in half) over the draining board to give protection. Would have preferred curtains in the bedroom really, then you could pop your head through them to weigh up the weather, and also open them a tad to see out while in bed without feeling you could be seen! However, the concept and design throughout was inspired, we really enjoyed life in a box, but what a box, and what a view!! Hide

Such a great location for walking the coastal path, going into Mumbles and walking to restaurants. We walked to the Brasserie, Gin and Tapas and Gin and juice. I would highly recommend all 3. The views from the windows were fabulous. A real treat of a place to recharge the batteries.

We visited this property for the first time 18 months ago. The property is still of a high quality, with a lovely view. However, the standard of cleaning has deteriorated. The patio was so dirty, we could not sit outside. It had obviously not been cleaned for weeks. Inside the property, it was generally clean, but some corners had cobwebs, and we hRead moread to finish cleaning the kitchen sink. The coffee machine was jammed with around 10 coffee pods. We emptied and cleaned it. Regarding the website, it would have been more helpful to specify the contents of the welcome pack, especially that clients need to bring their own milk. Despite these misgivings and disappointments, we would stay here again, as it is a lovley property. Hide
