This pretty cottage on a steep hill in Thistleboon makes a wonderful base for exploring the rural and coastal beauty of the Gower Peninsula. On the doorstep is the Mumbles Hill Local Nature Reserve with circular walks and splendid views, while the Mumbles Pier and RNLI station is just 1.5 miles down to the coast. Children will love exploring the rock pools at Bracelet Bay, just under a mile away. The ruins of medieval Pennard Castle stand on a clifftop 5.5 miles to the west, with commanding views over Three Cliffs Bay.
The beautiful open-plan lounge/diner has comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cosy evenings in, as well as a charming set of table and chairs for four. The cottage kitchen is a delightful space to cook, and the enchanting shower room, complete with exposed stone walls and separate cloakroom WC, is also located on the ground floor. Climb the stairs to rest up in the lovely bedrooms, one double and two single bedrooms. A second wonderful bathroom is located on the first floor.
There is a small, enclosed sitting area in front of the house with partial views of the sea.
