Gather all your loved ones together at this gorgeous holiday home beside Rhossili Beach. With plenty of space to socialise and stunning sea views, it’s the ideal accommodation option for larger families or groups of friends who want to enjoy quality time together in a beautiful location. The three miles of golden sand at Rhossili Beach (0.2 miles) regularly adorn lists of the world’s best beaches. Take a stroll to find Worm’s Head at one end, dunes at the other - and a genuine shipwreck in between. Walk all the way to Worm’s Head (1 mile) and see the famous rocky promontory that snakes out into Rhossili Bay. It’s only reachable for two hours either side of low tide, and even locals get it wrong - as a boy, the poet Dylan Thomas was marooned there until midnight. Alternatively, head to Arthur’s Stone (6.5 miles) – a 25-ton capstone that sits majestically on top of Cefn Bryn Common. Legend has it that King Arthur removed a stone from his shoe and threw it across the Loughor Estuary. By the time it reached its final resting point, the stone had become an enormous boulder. It’s also the site of a Neolithic tomb dating back to 2,500 BC.
Step inside and discover a wonderfully-welcoming reception room with patio doors leading out to a decked area with views of Worm’s Head. Take some time to make yourself at home by the wood burner before moving to the kitchen to cook up a storm for your loved ones. Host a dinner to remember around the large table in the stylish dining room. A handy utility/shower room and a cloakroom with WC complete the ground floor. Head up to the first floor, where you’ll find four lovely bedrooms – two king-size (one with an en-suite shower room with Jacuzzi shower and beach views), one twin and one zip-and-link king-size that can convert to a twin on request. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes the first-floor layout.
Venture outside and discover wonderful gardens to the front and rear of the home that are perfect for outdoor entertaining. Enjoy an al fresco dinner on the deck, sip a glass of wine in the heated gazebo, or take a well-deserved soak in the hot tub. If you want to challenge your loved ones to a pool tournament, you’ll find a pool table in the garage. This property does have Wi-Fi/phone signal but due to its rural location, it can be intermittent and very slow download speeds.
