An immaculate pet friendly stone cottage with superb sea views that dates back to the 1850's yet has been fully refurbished to offer top quality holiday accommodation for 4 people.

Set overlooking the promenade and a stone's throw from the shops and restaurants of Mumbles village, this compact gem boasts some original period features including rustic beams.

It has solid oak doors throughout, the kitchen is brand new, and there is a lovely garden plus a garage ideal for storing bikes and beach paraphernalia. 

There is even the luxury of two sitting rooms with the recently renovated second floor which has incredible views to both sides, the velux windows give views across Swansea Bay whilst the windows to the rear overlook the garden and the Castle woods and is furnished with a sofa and two occasional chairs, TV, games, books and jigsaws. There are three TV's in total in the property and WiFi.

Accommodation

Ground Floor

Reception: 3-seat sofa and armchair, sideboard, TV on a stand, iPod station plus occasional furniture and an electric fire.

Dining Area: Solid oak table with seating for four and a storage space under the stairs.

Kitchen: Gas hob and electric oven, integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. Blue tooth speaker. There is a microwave, toaster and kettle and a bistro style dining set for 4.

Cloakroom: Shower, WC, wash hand basin.

 

First Floor: Stairs in the hallway lead to a split level landing.

Bedroom 1: King size bed, fitted mirrored wardrobes, a dressing table and a flatscreen TV and with views out to sea and towards Mumbles Pier.

Bedroom 2: Zip and link beds which can be made up as 2 x singles or a king size bed plus a single standing wardrobe and drawers.

Family Bathroom: Large shower cubicle, bath WC, wash hand basin and built in storage. There is also a tumble dryer in the cupboard within the bathroom.

Second Floor

Reception 2: There is a recently renovated second floor sitting room with incredible views to both sides, the velux windows give views across Swansea Bay whilst the windows to the rear overlook the garden and the woods and is furnished with a sofa and two occasional chairs, TV, games, books and jigsaws.

External: To the rear there is a pretty lawned garden with some planting and outdoor dining furniture for 4. There is a garage is available to the rear of the property to accommodate 1 car. Garage dimensions are Length 5100cm Height clearance 1790cm Width clearance at door 2700cm. The garage internal dimension is wider so once in people will be able to open doors.

There are 4 buttons on the remote, you have to press the button with one dot to open/close garage.

**Please note** This cottage is located on Mumbles Road where the volumes of traffic can vary. Access to the house from the garage is via steps from the garage to a gently sloping lawn with further steps down to the backdoor leading to the kitchen

A very spacious and well equipped property with great views out onto the bay. We really appreciated the extra space of the second upstairs living room.The road outside is busy but the double glazing was effective so this was not a problem. Great location- an easy walk into mumbles and the beaches along the coast are within reach

A 10/10 property. Perfect location that afforded us the chance to explore the area on foot. So many beaches and walks from the doorstep. Mumbles is beautiful and the house equally so, we didnt want or need for anything.

The cottage at St. Judes was perfect for our needs for a happy and comfortable holiday. For us the ease of parking, the views, being dog friendly and the comfortable king size beds were just excellent. The property is really near the Mumbles town centre with the friendly pubs, coffee shops and restaurants accepting us and our chorkie. We couldnRead more't really ask for more. We stayed at St Judes in early June. For us the location was excellent, with an enclosed rear garden (for the pouch) and garage parking. It's a light and spacious cottage and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The Mumbles and the Gower peninsula is stunning!

We had a fabulous week at your lovely house, loved Langland Bay, Surfside cafe and Langland Brasserie. We even got some sun on our faces, sitting outside sipping wine, watching the surfers. Very well presented, equipped and comfortable property, with ample parking accessed from a small lane which leads to the rear of this and of nearby properties. Everywhere spotlessly clean with good quality facilities and plenty of room to spread out. There was a lovely welcome tray with delicious goodies for both humans and doggies, cleaning producRead morets in the kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge. The fresh flowers in the living room were also much appreciated. Last, but not least, the view overlooking Swansea Bay and location are wonderful - we enjoyed the flat walks to pubs, cafes and restaurants, not to mention woodland and castle walks right on the doorstep. There is a very busy road at the front of the property but the view and efficient double glazing which minimises any noise more than compensates! Our second stay at St Judes, though we have stayed in Mumbles on numerous occasions and have rented many lovely properties, but this is our favourite for location facilities, an overall comfort. Many thanks for the much appreciated goodie tray and extra touches e.g. flowers, cleaning products, milk and ample crockery etc. We managed to do plenty oRead moref walking all over Mumbles Hill Cliff footpath to Caswell and further afield to Rhossili and Three cliffs Bay.
