Drive or walk to Oxwich (4 miles), then on to the majestic Three Cliffs Bay (8 miles), where you’ll find the 12th-century Pennard Castle and the Gower Heritage Centre. Or travel 8 miles inland, to visit King Arthur’s Stone, Weobley Castle and the Woodfield Animal Sanctuary.
The majority of the sleeping accommodation is located at ground floor level, allowing the upper living areas to enjoy the fine views. On the ground floor you’ll find a king-sized master bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, two twin rooms (one with patio door access into the garden) and a family bathroom. Upstairs is a lounge and dining room, with patio doors that lead onto a balcony with uninterrupted sea views – the perfect spot for morning coffee. The lounge/diner is furnished with a table and six chairs, and sofa seating for seven people around the TV. The kitchen, a further twin bedroom and a separate WC are also on the first floor.
In addition to the balcony, the cottage has a south-facing lawned rear garden. This is surrounded by fencing and has dining furniture for sunny alfresco meals. Stone walls surround the gated front patio.
