Property code: OC-HH654

This ground-floor annexe, located on the grounds of a house on the edge of the Gower, is an excellent base for a romantic escape to the coast. The small village of Bishopston is conveniently located near an array of beaches, like Brandy Cove (2 miles) away and the Mumbles (3 miles). In addition to the spectacular nearby shores, there’s a nature reserve (1.5 miles), three delightful pubs, a surf shop and a supermarket in the village.

Make yourself at home in this cosy couple’s bolthole. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a bright and social space. The living area sits beside the patio doors, which let in streams of natural light. Relax on one of the comfortable leather sofas in front of the TV and ornamental fire. Head towards the kitchen from the lounge space to find the dining table and chairs. The kitchen is neat and light, with plenty of surface space for preparing and cooking special meals for your loved one. There is one bedroom in this property which has a double bed and plenty of storage space for you to unpack and settle in. If you need a rejuvenating bubble bath, there is a tub in the bathroom for you to use after a long day of exploring the coast.

Outside, there is a sheltered courtyard with an outdoor dining table and chairs for enjoying a meal al fresco with your other half.

Lovely cottage which is really quite spacious for two people. It was clean, comfortable and warm. It is very convenient for local beaches, local eateries and going off to explore the rest of The Gower. We would definitely stay again.

Everything about our stay was perfect in this lovely property which felt more like your own home than a holiday home. The slight unease we had about privacy was not warranted, perfect for us and our dog . Would definitely stay there again.

Simple one bed annexe type property, totally quiet location, parking almost adjacent to front door. Ideal anyone with mobility issues. Good location from which to drive out to anywhere on Gower.

Great location to explore the Gower area. Lots of walks within a short distance to explore the stunning coastline. Annexe 53 was comfortable with what we needed for a weeks stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Annexe. It wasn't as well equipped as some but for the few days we spent there we had everything we needed. It was a good size and included a table to eat at which is often missing from smaller properties. There was a bath and a shower over it but the shower curtain arrangement was just ok. The location is good and thereRead more are a great many local footpaths and several pubs in easy walking distance. Hide

Clean & Comfortable but not alot of privacy when sitting in the garden as overlooked . Definitely need a car to get about as not very much in the village. One pub walking distance and very over priced.

The handsoap was empty, there was only half a toilet roll and no spare. A light bulb was blown when we arrived. There wasn't a whisk in the kitchen equipment. Some good points were that the water was nice and hot, the shower was good and the bed was comfortable.
