Character remains in this traditional cottage that’s been stylishly restored. Enter via the lane into the ground-floor lounge where traditional features like overhead beams (care should be taken due to low beams and ceilings) combine with chic furniture and accessories including the sofas, armchair, wooden chest used as a coffee table and wall photographs. A highlight is the wood burner for that cosy night in. Steps lead to the kitchen which boasts a breakfast bar that’s great for family meals any time of day. Upstairs is the king-size bedroom and small bunk bedroom, as well as a shower room with elegant wooden window shutters.
Access your outdoor chill-out zone via a door from the kitchen. There’s a stone-built summer shelter with a sitting area to relax in and a secure patio area, accessed via steps, with lovely views over the surrounding village and hills. A garden table and chairs mean you can really enjoy the outdoors. There’s also an outdoor store at the end of the patio and a gate leading down the lane.
