This recently renovated family home has plenty of places to unwind and make cosy family memories, following your adventures on this North Devon Coast. Bring along your outdoor gear to enjoy walks on the South West Coast Path, including along scenic cliffs. Family beach days are yours to enjoy with plenty around to explore including the long, sandy beach of Putsborough and Croyde Beach, where you can enrol in a local surf school to have a go on the waves. Both are less than 2 miles away. The home from home is located in the quaint village of Georgeham, where you’ll find traditional inns less than half a mile from the house to sample local food and real ale. You’ll never be too far from a Devon cream tea too: a must from cafes in this part of the country.

Enter into the house’s ground-floor hallway and find the handy cloakroom. The ground-floor, open-plan living space is the perfect group hangout spot: choose your place on the lounge’s plush sofas or snuggle seat, fire up the wood burner in its rustic fireplace and find plenty of family entertainment with the TV, PlayStation 3 and board games. Carpets, big windows and muted tones make for a bright, homely atmosphere. The modern kitchen boasts a Tassimo coffee machine for a luxurious cuppa. Prepare family dinner and enjoy it at the dining area’s six-seater wooden table. Patio doors, brightening the dining area and living room, lead to the decked patio area. The ground floor also has a utility room. Relish quiet moments in the separate study area featuring a desk, chair and bookshelf loaded with books, jigsaws and board games to enjoy together. Stairs lead to a den-like snug, perfect for cosy nights in front of the TV. Retire to the first-floor, king-size bedroom where you’ll wake up to tranquil countryside views. A second king-size bedroom can be converted into a twin on request. There’s also a single bedroom that’s cosy and homely, like all the rest. Pamper after outdoor adventures in the bathroom which features luxuries like a bath with a rain head shower over it and underfloor heating.

At the back of the house, steps lead to a sloping lawn area that’s partially fenced (children should be supervised as there are additional steps in this area). This garden features a furnished, decked patio area and a BBQ for disposables. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the surrounding hills.

A real home from home accommodation, beautifully and tastefully decorated . My youngest son loved the PlayStation ! The utility room was particularly handy to have , away from the kitchen area . Beds very comfortable and lovely and quiet at night . Having a local shop a minutes walk away was very convenient.

Situated on a small quality housing estate we found this property to be very clean with good quality furniture, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and very comfortable beds The Freeview on the t.v had its moments due to a lack of signal but that sorted itself out in the end. The pub is within walking distance and serves lovely food, but you haveRead more to pre-book your table. Fabulous property, comfortable, quality fit out and many nice touches. It's a great position in a lovely village with two great pubs and a few minutes drive from world class beaches.
