We loved our stay here. Warm welcome, well equipped, cosy and comfortable and our hosts could not have been kinder. We especially enjoyed the road free walk to the shore, where there was birdwatching for grownups, paddling for dogs and beachcombing for little people. We were sorry to leave!

The cottage was a perfect home away from home. Friendly hosts and welcome basket. The cottage had everything we needed, including including safe storage for our bikes, parking for 2 cars and WiFi (the area's mobile signal is not good!). There was plenty of scope for inside and al fresco dining, including the use of a charcoal BBQ and picnic tableRead mores. There were games, books (including children's toys) and a good TV with streaming. We enjoyed exploring locally on foot or by bike or further afield by foot ferry to Harwich, or nearer Ipswich, where Jimmy's Farm was a great day out. The nearest food shop and good butcher's was in Holbrook less than 10 minutes drive. A very peaceful location and lovely cottage. Hide

A comfortable, well-equipped base from which to explore Suffolk and Dedham Vale. We much appreciated the very generous welcome pack and the flowers. Our dog loved the garden (and meeting Harley) and we liked the fact that we could let him out and not have to worry about him escaping. We had a very enjoyable week and hope to return.
