Located less than half a mile from the centre of Swanage, this bright and pleasant mews-style house has an enviable location close to The Downs and with views over Swanage Bay. Swanage is a great town to head to for a quintessential seaside holiday. Its beach is part of a conservation area, while the Jurassic coast to the west has some of England’s prettiest coves. Lulworth is just under 20 miles away as is Durdle Door. The town itself has plenty to do with many pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes in addition to Santa Fe Fun Park, which will easily keep the children entertained. Otherwise, head to Swanage Railway for a 6-mile journey that takes you through beautiful countryside. If boats are more your thing, there are summer sailings on the sea-going paddle steamer from Swanage Pier. And no stay in Swanage is complete without visiting the majestic Corfe Castle – once a Saxon stronghold as well as a Norman fortress - which is just under 6 miles away.
Inside, the house has a large kitchen/diner with plenty of worktops and appliances, making rustling up meals in the property a breeze. The living room, like the kitchen, is light and bright, as well as very comfortable with a sofa and chair to relax upon when watching TV or curling up in front of the fire. The bedrooms are also spacious and tastefully decorated. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room, as well as lovely view of the bay while the other bedroom is a pretty twin with ample storage space. There is also a family bathroom with a bath and hand-held shower attachment and a WC.
Outside is a small, enclosed patio area with four chairs so guests can enjoy al fresco drinks.
