Perfect location. Ideal for car free evenings around the harbour pubs and restraunts. Lovely period property, updated but still retaining bags of character.

Having stayed at many holiday cottages over many years, Id rate this in the top three. Quirky, spacious, warm, comfy bed, good shower, ample storage space in both bedroom and kitchen.

The pictures represent the property very well so if you would like something slightly different this property could really work for you. It is in the heart of Porthleven so you are walking distance to all local facilities. Positive points: great bed, good location, good towels. Negative points: just about squeezed my Mini down the driveway - it was anxious getting in and out and Im glad we didnt have a larger car. We hadnt realised there was a property on top of this one. If you were part of the same party, or it was empty, it would be fine. But our upstairs neighbRead moreours were definite larks - up at 6.30am every morning and walking to and fro and sometimes moving furniture (it sounded like). It really impacted in terms of making the trip not relaxing and would prevent me booking the same property. Hide

Overall, the property is very spacious and in a good location, being only a two minute walk to the harbour. On site parking was ideal; however, getting in and out of the steep drive could be a problem for someone driving a large car, as access on to the main road is very narrow. During our stay, the weather was very wet, so, the log fire was a niRead morece feature. Unfortunately the property did have damp in the bedroom and living room, but this might not be a problem in the summer. Hide

Spacious cottage in a brilliant location. Feels a bit dated, but comfortable nonetheless. While the entrance to the parking space is quite narrow, it shouldn't be an obstacle to any competent driver.

A wonderful place to stay in the heart of Porthleven. Very comfortable and well equipped. It made for a very cosy festive home away from home over the Christmas period. Really useful to have its own car parking too.

Torleven house is lovely, full of character. It has a lovely garden with herbs if youre cooking there. The house is very clean and comfortable and the rooms are a great size. Torleven house is very close to all the shops and amenities around the harbour, i would recommend the house, it has everything you would need.
