This sweet little cottage ideal for small families is the perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts, with endless walks around this Cornish Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Helford is a picturesque village with a village shop and pub and is situated just 1 mile from the local beach Bosahan Cove. There are plenty more beaches to discover along the South West Coast Path which runs through Helford on either side. Popular sites nearby include the Lizard Peninsula 11 miles away with its striking rock formations, or 19.5 miles away the bustling town of Falmouth has an abundance of amenities and things to do.
Greeted by a traditional carved Cornish porch, this former fisherman’s cottage is full of character. Enter through the front door into the lounge with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV/DVD and a feature fireplace. Adjacent is the tiled dining room with exposed wooden beams and a cosy wood burner in the inglenook fireplace beside a rocking chair. The farmhouse dining table comfortably seats four guests. From here you will find the galley-style kitchen with a Belfast sink. On the first floor, are both lovingly decorated bedrooms, and finally a family bathroom with a claw-foot, roll-top bath.
Outside there are two sunny seating areas with garden furniture, one next to the quay by Helford footbridge and the other accessed by steps from the kitchen looking out across the village.
