The property is situated down a peaceful country road on the outskirts of the charming village of Snape – close to the popular Snape Maltings. This arts complex sits on the bank of the River Alde, surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is just 6 miles from Aldeburgh. The beautiful heritage site, with its converted Victorian buildings, is home to independent shops and galleries, wonderful places to eat, and several performance venues – including the world-famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall. The cottage is 18 miles from Southwold with its pretty pier, plus there are castles and much more to explore at Framlingham and Orford - 10 miles and 6.5 miles away respectively. The burial treasures at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge 11 miles away, should not be missed either.
On entering, you’re sure to be impressed by the generous, open-plan and contemporary kitchen/diner/sitting room. This room certainly brings the outside in with French doors and large windows looking out to the garden area and a light and bright ambience throughout. The stylish and modern kitchen allows you to whip up culinary delights whilst enjoying company in this sociable space. A large dining table makes for the perfect space to share stories over a home-cooked meal and glass of wine, whilst at the far end of this spacious room is a cosy seating area, equipped with a Smart TV, DVD player and PlayStation 4, office space, and separate reading area. A hallway separates this space from the three bedrooms - two king-size and one twin. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, while other guests can use a large family bathroom. The bedrooms are the ultimate place to get some rest and relaxation. So, if you’re looking to recharge your batteries, then you are sure to find that here in this tranquil setting.
